Most couples have their heart to heart talks while sitting on the couch, preparing food in the kitchen or after they've settled into bed.
For the Head of the House this can be a good time to work on getting to the point regarding his wife's behavior. However, I have found that many times she doesn't fully understand the point I'm trying to make.
I've found the best way to get my point across is to simply sit in an armless chair, put her across my lap and bare her bottom. In this manner she doesn't know if she's going to get spanked or not but she does have my FULL attention. And her listening ability improves 200%.
If, while I'm talking, she attempts to make excuses or interrupt me all that's needed is a swat or two and she quickly goes back to listening only.
I recommend this in all situations were the Head of the House needs to get the point across. Sometimes it's good, before leaving the house for work, to do this. I guarantee that throughout her day she will remember the position she was in before you left for work.
Of course, from time to time, it may involve warming her behind and giving it a nice red glow to get your point across but that truly is up to her. She either listens and doesn't get spanked or she doesn't listen and gets spanked. Either way it's a win, win for me!
